About Me

After a year and a half of living in Shenzhen, China as an English teacher I decided I’d had enough.  Quit my job on March 20th, 2010 to travel the world until further notice.  I spent my time doing a lot of watching, a bit of photography, and occasionally even write something I’m kind of proud of.

Before I quit that teaching job, I traveled mostly in China.  Since last March, I’ve been all over Asia with some short forays to North America, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East when I needed to change things up. Look at the “Countries” tab up top to read more.

Upcoming plans:

I’m in the US, till March it looks like. I had a bit of a soccer accident, so now I”m waiting on a broken wrist bone to heal. In the meantime, though, D.C. and New Orleans (Mardi Gras!) and lots of hiking and photography in the Texas Hill Country.

In March, though Istanbul and onwards!

Sounds awesome, right?

Traveling is always a good thing for freedom, wisdom in life. I never stop thinking about this amazing Great Nature, which is created.

After I left the comment I realised the photo changes :( It had lots of spires over a countryside landscape, I thought perhaps Burma or something ….

I assume you mean this one?

If so, you’re right on! The temple-plains of Bagan in Burma, still one of my favorite sites in all of South East Asia.

I’ve got a few more photos of Bagan here and on Flickr, if you’re interested.

Hey Stephen, I met your Dad last weekend. HE went on and on about your travels. After looking at the site, I would have to agree with him, it looks like you are living a large life, one that very few will ever experience. Enjoy it, and God bless. Keep up the great work on the site!
