China Travel Words

Huashan

This was my laptop background for a long time. Thats how much I like it.
Temples and jagged peaks and stereotypical tourists with giant cameras.

Just east of Xi’An is China’s “Magnificant Mountain.”  Though not spoken of with the same level of excitement and beauty of Huangshan (in Anhui Province), Huashan mountain is quite pretty.  Greg and I took the cable car up early in the day, spent all day hiking between the 5 major peaks, and walked back down on the aptly named “soldier’s Path” just in time to get to the village, pick up our bags, and get away from the sketchy town on the last bus.  My only regret was that I went during summer, so the China haze was settled over the mountains, obstructing much of the view.  I may suck it up, brave the cold, and try to come back here this year during my colder months.

Undershirt is not an attractive look for me.

Note the phallic thing in the background. There's a great picture of greg with that, but somehow I dont think it belongs here.
