Scenes of Koror

Posted by on July 27, 2012

The capital of Palau, Koror, is decidedly not a lovely place. There’s a lot of traffic (on the ONE main road), no real sidewalks to speak of, and on rainy days honestly very little to do.

¬†What Koror does have in its favor, though, is a location right in the middle of Palau’s Rock Islands. Even a half hour of kayaking can get explorers away from town and into hidden coves over sunken ships.

Koror also makes a nice place to recharge after Rock Islands kayaking adventure or camping on Peleliu, because after long days of canned food and water something fresh with a cold beer is hella welcome!
