Matador U Photo Lab: Leading Lines

Posted by on September 18, 2012

This shot is from Vienna’s Nascht Market. I was trying to use the lines of the buildings and the shadow to lead the viewer into the image and project the feeling of walking deeper into the market.

What do you think? Did it work? What could I have done better?

Double the Nascht!

Exposure 0.008 sec (1/125)
Aperture f/14.0
Focal Length 10 mm

      Yo Stephen!

I dig this photo man, nice use of the leading lines. I especially like, what seems like blurred motion in the reflection of the backpacker, definitely helps strengthen the direction that the photo takes me. Cool shot, no doubt

Hey Stephen! I agree that this is a really cool shot, and a great example of how you can use leading lines to draw the viewer in. Maybe one small improvement could be if you increased the contrast a little bit to really highlight all those lines?
