Though I’m sure that on better days Vienna’s Prater would be a lovely outing for the whole family, my visit left me with disturbing memories of one of the creepiest funhouse experiences I could ever hope for.
Under a dark sky with only a very few families strolling the grounds, the park seemed equal parts deserted and sinister.
Sure, there were rides to be ridden and games to be played and fun to be had.
But there were also creepy statues of alien life forms.
Oversized clowns keeping watch over empty walkways.
And perhaps the most truly haunted house ever built for the amusement of minors. Thank God I didn’t visit Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, because it might have pushed the experience over the top and left me shivering with fright in my posh hotel room for the rest of the night.

From the looks of this I think you have just about seen it all!!
I did visit madam tussauds wax museum in london in 1963 and it was creepy back then!JFK was the newest wax figure at the time!
Haha, wow, that was a long time ago. Unfortunately I didnt go in, so I’ve no idea if they’ve updated since then or not?
