Travel Budget: Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a great city, consistently one of my favorites in the world.  However its a place where costs start to add up immediately, and I end up spending way more than I expected every time I go.

So, here’s a realistic look at what I tend to pay to be there.  Includes a bit of eating out at cool restaurants, a bit of going out to cool bars in LKF and Wan Chai, and some exploration of the city’s beaches and small corners that occasionally require a cab.

I love the place, and will never stop going back.  I just wish my wallet loved it a little more! HK could certainly be done cheaper than this, but then I’d be missing out on delicious food and awesome Saturday boat trips to the beach.
