My favorite part of Dubai, just about the only part of town I’ve found that still has a feel of the old and exotic to it, is all the excellent market action. While nowhere near as chaotic as my favorite Central Asian markets, the upscale feel of the Gold Souk or pleasant winding lanes of the Spice Souk keep me walking for hours to watch people and shoot photos as well as hide from the heat in their covered alleyways.
I know I tend to overdo it sometimes on bazaar photos, so here are my favorite shots from each of the three biggest souks in Dubai:
